Again, time for a Volley ball game. My dad and Nate’s big night. The playoffs! I know it was 4-H night, but we had to go to the game. Lamar did great, and guess what else. There was another girl there and she had a german shepherd pup named, Kate. I took Lamar over to meet Kate at the end of the game. Oh by the way Grace community, my church is no longer in the finals:( I can totally see a change in Lamar. He now sits nicely in church and is getting so much better with everything:) Yay!!!

Today my mom decided to make home made bread again. She grinds the wheat with with a wheat grinder. Lamar just happened to be sitting right next to her when she started up the grinder. The look in his eyes just made me start laughing. Oh but he wasn’t laughing, he though we were all being invaded by the boogie monster. He ran up to me and put his cute, but concerned face on my lap. I knew what that meant. By big puppy wanted me to comfort him by giving him a big hug and letting him sit on my lap and talk to him with sweet words of love. I did just that. It felt nice to have my “little puppy” back:)
And then when it wa all over as the mechanical monster was fading off, Lamar thought it a good time to celebrate by singing along with a little tune. He sounded so cute, today was the first time he had ever doggie sang! I told him that he had a beautiful voice.

Every Monday night my dad has a Volleyball game and I try going and bring along Lamar. He was being a little stinker last night so I didn’t get to see much of the game. He was faking that he had to go park just so he could go outside! My new training tectonic is when he barks that I spray him in the face with a water bottle and say NO. Well that was working great, until Sam broke the water bottle. That was sorta embarrassing too, because then there was a big wet spot on the floor and it looked like something it wasn’t. Better yet I was trying to dry up the spilled water, so if someone walked by when I was doing that they really would have thought! Oh well, as long as it wasn’t actually him, it’s all good.

Once again we have baby squirrels to care for....but this time we have a “mommy” too! Lamar just seams to know when it’s feeding time. He walks up to me and gives me those eyes until I let him sit on my lap. I think he really just wants some of the milk formula but.....these little squirrels are quite messy and Lamar being the neat dog that he is(not really), he can’t stand to let that milk stay on there faces. He licks it off and then I continue with the feeding.
Right now the little bugger is siting on my feet, that’s one of the very odd things he does. I don’t know if I told you this before but I just have to tell you again! OK, so I go and sit on our steps leading to upstairs and Lamar comes and sits right beside me, on the same step, just like I am sitting. Or I’ll be sitting on the ground and he will sit on my lap and chew on a toy or something. I tell him that he’s an Embarrassment to Nature, but I do think it is very cute and funny. Lamar definitely has his own unique character! Yea, he just likes sitting on things, what a weirdo:)

So many places to go things to accomplish....
....Today Kassia and I had a dentist appointment, last time we were at the office the secretary said to bring Lamar the next time we came. So that was his outing for today, and what a good experience! Going up the stairs everything echoes and that took a little time for him to get used to. There was also an elevator and he did great on that! I just wish Lamar wouldn't bark so much in church! He does an amazing job in worship, well for a dog anyway, he sleeps the whole time:) But then, when the kids release for sunday school he thinks he gets to go too, oh bother how to explain things to a dog that thinks he is a human? He really has this funny habit of acting more like a human that a dog, especially how he sits and sleeps!!! He hee, maybe he believes in evolution?!
